GREENBOR has already built a separate site for household waste near the outer perimeter of the residential neighbourhood.

Its location makes it possible to organize regular garbage collection without the arrival of a garbage truck to the inner residential area, where houses, private yards and parking spaces are located.

As you move in, the number of containers will increase according to the actual needs of the residents.

Domestic infrastructure is no less important than communications

When choosing a home, buyers usually check the electricity, water, drainage and driveway. However, for permanent residence, it is no less important to understand in advance where household waste will be stored and who will organize its regular removal.

For individual houses in villages or new construction outside the established infrastructure, owners sometimes have to independently:

• search for a carrier;
• agree on the export schedule;
• store packages or containers on private property;
• coordinate joint expenses with neighbors;
• solve the problem of driving large equipment to houses.

In the GREENBOR project, this need was taken into account in advance: a separate place was created for household waste, and regular removal will be organized as a common service of the residential quarter.

Why is the playground located near the outer perimeter

The container space is moved to the edge of the property so that the garbage truck can load without having to drive on the internal road between the properties.

This solution helps:

• reduce the movement of heavy equipment near houses;
• do not block the internal passage while loading containers;
• reduce noise in the living area;
• reduce the risk of damage to the internal road and landscaping elements;
• not create obstacles for residents and parked cars;
• facilitate the access of specialized transport.

The garbage truck does not need to maneuver between houses or enter private yards.

How household waste removal will be organized

As the block is inhabited, containers will be installed on the site in a quantity sufficient for the actual amount of household waste.

After the state registration of the Greenbor Cooperative and the transition to a permanent management model, the Cooperative will organize:

• concluding a contract for the removal of household waste;
• approval of a regular schedule;
• control of timely emptying of containers;
• site cleaning;
• increasing the number of containers if necessary;
• accounting of actual service costs.

The frequency of removal will be determined taking into account the number of inhabited households, the amount of waste and the terms of the contract with the carrier.

How the cost of the service will be distributed

Household waste removal will be a separate shared service.

The actual monthly cost under the contract with the carrier will be divided into 20 equal shares - one share per household.

This approach allows residents to see:

• real cost of removal;
• separate charge for the service;
• the period for which the calculation was made;
• no hidden inclusion of costs in the total opaque amount.

In the future, billing and payment information will be displayed in the owner's personal account.

What waste can be left on the site

Containers are intended for normal household waste generated during residence.

They do not include:

• construction debris;
• remains of dismantling and repair;
• oversized furniture;
• household appliances;
• branches and significant volumes of plant remains;
• hazardous or special waste;
• materials that require separate specialized removal.

Such waste must be removed separately by the owner of the house or the contractor at his own expense. They cannot be left near containers or stacked on a common site without prior approval.

Construction debris during renovation

After purchasing a house, the owner can carry out interior decoration, terrace arrangement, paving or other individual works. In the process, non-household waste is generated.

For them, you need to organize separately:

• bags or a special container;
• temporary storage place without disturbing neighbors;
• loading;
• removal by a licensed or eligible carrier;
• cleaning of the area after completion of work.

This procedure does not allow transferring the costs of private repairs of one owner to all residents of the block.

Order in the common area

A separate playground alone does not solve the issue of cleanliness - regular maintenance and compliance by residents remain important.

After switching to a permanent management model, usage rules can define:

• what waste is allowed to be left in containers;
• prohibition of garbage storage near the site;
• procedure for removal of bulky items;
• responsibility for construction waste;
• duty of contractors to clean up after work;
• procedure in case of container overflow or damage.

The purpose of such rules is to maintain cleanliness without conflicts and without shifting individual costs to other owners.

The garbage dump is one of the practical elements of the block along with other systems necessary for daily living.

Already running or created in the first stage:

• main entrance with automatic gate;
• pedestrian gate;
• GSM control and mobile access;
• video surveillance;
• two wells;

• intra-quarter drainage system;
• optical Internet;
• asphalted and illuminated exterior entrance;
• site for household waste.

The internal road, the lighting of the first stage and the further landscaping of the territory are being carried out in stages.
